The Results Are In: Literacy Tree Takes Root at Fairview Elementary

Reading proficiency by third grade is one of the strongest predictors of a child's long-term academic success — which is why we're proud to have partnered with Omega CDC and Dayton Public Schools on the Literacy Tree pilot at Fairview Elementary this past school year.
Over 12 weeks, twenty-two third graders received intentional, one-on-one literacy tutoring designed to close grade-level gaps and build confidence in reading. The early results exceeded expectations, and they reflect exactly the kind of community-driven momentum our collective impact work is built on.
