Building on the momentum of its successful debut, Learn to Earn Dayton, in collaboration with an advisory council of expert community partners, is proud to announce the launch of the second year of the Civic Leadership Program (CLP). This transformative training academy is designed to empower local residents with the leadership skills and knowledge necessary to advocate effectively for students and families.

Community Investment Fund Impact Report
Learn to Earn Dayton facilitated a third and final round of the Community Investment Fund (CIF) in 2025, continuing its work with eight deeply-rooted, neighborhood organizations to implement projects in support of the resident-led Power of Place plan. In the News: Pathways to Homeownership

Dr. Rowell brings deep expertise in the areas central to the 2Gen mission. She recently retired as a dedicated Professor of Sociology at Sinclair Community College, where she twice directed the Honors Program and was the founding director of the Center for Teaching and Learning.

Access to Counsel Program Expands
The program is expanding its scope to serve any resident of the City of Dayton with a school-aged child facing eviction. In collaboration with the Dayton Municipal Court, we are working to develop a new student eviction prevention database to proactively identify and offer services to at-risk families.

Community Investment Fund Spotlight: On Purpose Academy
